Devils, Demons and Werewolves

Devils, Demons and Werewolves is a Young Adult anthology of ghostly, fantasy, and paranormal tales written by new authors. My vampire story is called The Teen Game and is published under my maiden name, Catherine Hargreaves.

Here is an excerpt from The Teen Game:

During the next month I drank my way through around six of the boys from my college.  It did start to become a chore after a while.  David was thoroughly upset when he saw me flirting with another boy during that first week but I smoothed things over with a few dates after which he began to refer to me as his girlfriend.   This was quite disturbing and I made it clear to him that we were not an item but he seemed not to hear my protestations.  Eleanor told me she knew this would happen, I had enslaved yet another human male and now I could not free him.  I had to find a way to take care of it.  There was also the issue of my social reputation.  Not that it bothered me personally as I wouldn’t be spending much time here, but the boys seemed to think that by securing my affections they would also secure intimate access to my body.  Of course this would not happen!  I admit that I invited a few of the boys to my home on different occasions, David included, but we never did more than what is classed as ‘heavy petting.’  I am by no means a virgin myself and I enjoy making love, but I have learnt over the decades that humans attach so much significance to the act that it causes more trouble than is necessary.
